Here is a copy of the latest study guide for Higher. It contains all the worksheets and visuals you will need to revise and practice critical questions to help you revise for the prelim and written exam, for both expressive and design.

S5/6 - N5 &Higher

Higher Deadlines:All folio work completed by 23 March 2017.
After the Prelims are finished, you must have the following items completed:
Research & Development sheets in Expressive work -
all work mounted up/ fully completed - no gaps. Development must clearly show 2 clear Development routes/ you must use a variety of materials/techniques/ and sizes of paper. Work will begin on the Final piece for completion by 23 March.
Research & Development sheets in Design work -
all work mounted up/ fully completed - no gaps/ all annotations in place/ all 3 concepts in place/ 3 ideas or more with 3D models as photos to accompany them/ samples and materials etc. Work on final pieces MUST be started after the prelim exam.
All final pieces to be photographed must be completed by week beginning 14 March otherwise you must be prepared to take and print the photos yourself.

NB*S5/6 Pupils /Parents:
The grade attained in the Prelim will contribute to your report and your overall grade at this stage of the course, along with practical units in Expressive and Design
* Practical course work in Expressive & Design will be graded during the Prelims - if your practical work is incomplete, or is not available for assessment your grade will go down.
